The stylish contemporary design of the polished edge is not only a stunning aspect of the EXCEL Edge Flat Rooflight but with the use of Toughened Active glass this provides excellent security and thermal efficiency.
The Aluminium frame with the overlap of the toughened glass allows water to simply glide off its surface and not be hindered by perimeter sealants or protruding frames. The EXCEL Edge flat rooflight stands blends seamlessly into a flat roof.
THERMAL EFFICIENCY
The EXCEL Edge is designed to maximise the light into the room below. The Toughened Active Glass helps to keep the unwanted heat out and the room at an ambient temperature, providing you with the benefit of comfort and performance
all year-round.
The EXCEL Edge is manufactured from high performance glazing components with low maintenance solar reflective glass outside and low emission heat soaked toughened glass inside. The glass is structurally bonded into the unique super-slim edge thermally broken aluminium frame providing a typical U-Value of 1.3 w/m2k (overall roof).

SECURITY
Security is a very important factor in the design of the EXCEL Edge Flat Rooflight. With the use of a Strong Aluminium Frame and heat soaked toughened safety glass as standard this helps improve Security, Noise Reduction and a reduction in UV rays that help prevent sun bleaching.
